Bio: ”Coach Jay” is a Tampa Native who has 10+ years of experience coaching racquet sports of all levels. He attended Robinson HS where he became the first ever college tennis Signee, playing 4 years at Piedmont College (Ga). After achieving a top 5 ranking in Florida Men’s Open Doubles, Coach Jay served two years as the Head Tennis Coach at Lakewood High School, where he led the boys team to a District Championship before pursuing coaching at the Collegiate level, including head coaching stints at Division II schools Davis & Elkins (W Va), West Virginia Wesleyan, and Francis Marion (SC). WHO DOES JAY COACH Switching full-time into pickleball last year after starting to play in 2022, Coach Jay enjoys coaching all ages and levels, but specializes in intermediate and advanced adults, performance juniors, and singles play — offering both private and group instruction. Pickleball Highlights Jay actively plays in PPA Professional Events, holding World Rankings in Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, and is the Head Coach of the O-Town Bangers of the All Florida Pro League. 3x National Qualifier in Men’s Singles 2025 UPA Florida State Amateur Singles Champion 2024, 2025 Golden Ticket National Qualifier 2024 Macon National Qualifier 6.0+ Singles Runner-Up 2024 West Virginia Indoor Men's Doubles Champion

Bio: Lauren is a passionate pickleball coach with a unique background in sports. Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, she spent 17 years playing ice hockey before shifting into coaching youth hockey. After relocating to Florida in 2019, Lauren discovered pickleball and quickly fell in love with the game. With four years of pickleball experience, Lauren specializes in working with beginners of all ages. She believes that pickleball is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of skill level. Her coaching approach emphasizes strategy, control, and precision, helping players develop a solid foundation and advance their game. Lauren offers personalized private lessons tailored to each player's individual needs. Whether you're looking to learn the basics or take your game to the next level, Lauren's energetic and welcoming style will create a positive and supportive learning environment. Bio: Mark has been an avid athlete since arriving in the US from Sweden. He played three team sports in high-school, two in college, and a handful of competitive activities in early adulthood. He went on to become a teaching pro in racquetball. Perhaps even more than playing, Marks enjoys coaching and studying related topics. He still coaches baseball. And he writes and speaks on advanced concepts in human performance. Mark picked up the pickleball addiction a few years ago. He's won and medaled in a range of tournaments and actively competes in senior events. He is a certified PPR instructor who loves the challenge of helping players get the most out of their abilities. "There's nothing more satisfying than helping people break through to the next level — getting them to experience that 'A-ha!' moment." Whether you're just getting started with pickleball or would like to accelerate onto competitive paths, Mark would love to help.
